These are the bands that I enjoy listening to

Metallica

Metallica is one of the most influential bands to heavy metal. They're heavy and melodical. The music all together is great and the recordings and live shows are great. Though Metallica with their new release, Saint Anger has dissapointed many, and they have gone down hill, they stil have made a big imprint on the history of heavy metal. My favorite songs by them have to be One, Orion, Call of Ktulu, and Master of Puppets.

Lamb of God

Lamb of God has been a big influence and drive in getting me into the hardcore scene. Lamb is recreating the music scene, and they're packing a punch. Their music is heavy and has a new flowing style of guitar riffs. I personally love the guitar in these guys' music. It's fast and heavy just like pure metal should be. This band has also helped integrate me into the hardcore scene. I have gotten into some other bands and started learning music that wasn't in the standard "e" tuning on my guitar. Some of my favorite songs by Lamb would be 11th Hour, Hourglass, and As the Palaces Burn. I would suggest anyone listening to this band.
